Dr. René Walter, D.C.

Dr. René Walter grew up in Marietta and graduated from Sprayberry High School. Her introduction to chiropractic began while in high school. She has played softball since she was a little girl and suddenly began having extreme low back pain. She was unable to swing a bat, lie in bed or sit comfortably in class. One of her mother’s friends suggested she take her to a chiropractor. They went to a local chiropractor and within a week the pain was gone. Unfortunately, she did not understand the concept of chiropractic and as soon as the pain was gone, she discontinued care. This led to more serious problems later in life. After high school, Dr. René attended the University of Georgia and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. While in college, she experienced a re-occurrence of low back pain, along with headaches, emotional distress and digestive issues. She started taking medications for her ailments but was only experiencing mild relief. One day after graduation, she started seeing another chiropractor who made such an impact on Dr. René that she immediately signed up to tour Life University in Marietta, Georgia. Within three months, she began her chiropractic education. While in school, she started receiving regular chiropractic care and began to feel the best she ever had. Her headaches and low back pain decreased significantly. Her anxiety, depression and digestive issues disappeared with the additional positive outcomes of an increase in energy and no longer getting sick multiple times a year. In June 2015, René graduated summa cum laude as a Doctor of Chiropractic and she has loved working as a chiropractor ever since.
